Likewise, HallofLegends.com is quickly becoming the premier on-line destination for sports enthusiasts throughout the world. Hall of Legends Sports' inaugural "Collectable Video Series" profiles the greatest coaching legends from around the world of college sports. As the first in this illustrious collectable series, The Story of Darrell Royal is the story of legendary University of Texas football coach and three-time national champion, Darrell Royal. Since its official release in December of 1998 through Hall of Legend's direct-response (800 number) distribution unit, the critically-acclaimed and Telly Award-winning videotape has become the fastest selling non-apparel product in University of Texas history. Continuing the sales success of the product, Hall of Legends Sports has formed several on-going strategic alliances with, among others, MBNA Mastercard and Sports Illustrated.
COMPANY BACKGROUND Hall of Legends Sports is the new name of the former video production arm of RICHULCO, Inc. Although the company has traditionally produced MTV music videos for Warner Bros, New Line Cinema, the Space Jam soundtrack, the Trial & Error soundtrack, Six Flags Theme Parks and many more, Hall of Legends Sports is now solely focused on the production and distribution of high-profile sports documentaries. Additionally, Hall of Legends Sports' sister company, RICHULCO, Inc. and its president, Richard Hull, produce theatrical feature films which have included Within the Lines, Jekyll Island and, most recently, the run-away hit, She's All That. With the largest launch ever given to a Miramax Films (Disney) movie, She's All That stars Freddie Prinze, Jr., Anna Paquin, Rachel Leigh Cook, Tim Matheson, Kevin Pollack and more. Setting records for the largest opening-weekend box office gross in Miramax history, as well as for the largest Super Bowl weekend opening ever, the film generated weekend receipts of $17 million in its first three days. It holds the record for the second largest opening ever for the month of January (second only to Star Wars) and has grossed over $60 million domestically to-date. NBC Television called the She's All That "...hip, smart and hilarious!," while CBS called it a "fun and unbelievably entertaining film!" Hall of Legends Sports and RICHULCO support various charities, most notably The Mike Campbell Scholarship Fund at The University of Texas and The Volunteer Attorney Program, which places volunteer attornies in inner-city neighborhoods for free weekly clinics.
